The Role Responsbilities

They are looking for a strong lead Enterprise Architect to lead the Vision and Enterprise Architecture Standard Management team for group enterprise architecture.

The role will include: 

  • -Define Enterprise Architecture Capability and maturity model, as well as the enterprise architecture journey roadmap
  • -Define the architecture standard model for bank wide adoption, which include Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Technology Architecture, Information/Data Architecture and Integration Architecture
  • -Work closely with Domain (CCIB, CPBB, Functions and ET) chief architects and domain architects, deliver the bank wide architecture (Baseline, Near-Term and Vision) with associated strategic initiatives and roadmaps
  • -Manage the bank-wide application and technology portfolio standards, processes, and governances
  • -Adopt the industry best practices in managing enterprise architecture across the bank
  • -Accountable for group vision architecture with digital enterprise architecture and ensuring alignment of investment to architecture for both client-facing and employee-facing platforms.
  • -Accountable for group vision architecture alignment with group business and technologies strategies
  • -Improve and streamline Enterprise Architecture governance and decisions across the strategic Technology Themes and Emerging Technologies.
  • -Work closely with the domain architecture team to ensure the alignment to architectural Principles and Architecture Management Standards
  • -Work with Technology governance to issue appropriate policies, procedures and quality checks for the adoption of Technology vision across the Bank.
  • -Ensuring a full understanding of the risk and control environment within the Enterprise Architecture organization.
  • -Accountable for architecture standard models, Architecture Management Standard, Architecture Principles alignment across the bank.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • -Over 12 years of working experiences.
  • -Domain exposure/experience in Financial Services is required.
  • -TOGAF certification is advantageous.
  • -International exposure, ability to handle cultural diversity and developing high performers are essential to this role.
  • -Significant experience in Technology at senior level    
  • -Ability to possess sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return)
  • -Effective communicator, having the ability to communicate complex, often vague topics in a compelling manner.
  • -Ability to understand geographically dispersed and highly varied client requirements
  • -Excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • -Ability to articulate a clear vision; ability to organise teams for successful execution
