DESCRIPTION

Continuous Improvement through Process-based Approach

Business competitive edge and success comes from the organisation’s ability to continuously improve its operations and processes, and technology is one of the key contributor and enabler and should be capitalised towards this end. This course is designed to provide the fundamental knowledge in implementing and improving the business process management framework in the organization from the business perspectives. It enables continuous improvement that will result in business process efficiency and manage people change effectively. The course will give an understanding on the principle of IT Architecture fundamental and how it can be applied in identifying major business processes to be re-engineered, improved and aligned to organizational goals and objectives.

The workshops will provide hands on opportunities to perform process modeling with proper Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) documentation, business metrics and in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to monitor process performance. Interspersed with practical case studies, participants will learn how to assess and redesign the strategies with a focus on improving and the architecting business processes, recognising the important role of people play in making a successful business transformation and aligning business goals with IT priorities.
